Kristyna Svoboda
—nice to
meet you.
I'm a creative mind with a background in literary theory and a relentless habit of critical thinking. A retired globetrotter, I've lived and worked in Berlin, Amsterdam, Sweden, and New York. Now based in Prague, I translate my eclectic experience from corporate and agency teams into fresh, functional concepts and well-crafted copy for clients like—well, you.
I’m a writer, an ideamaker, and most importantly, a reader. I like to think first and write second. That pause is where my work begins.

What do I mean
when I say I write.
My creative practice consists of commercial and literary projects. They complement each other. In my commercial work, I create to serve your vision. In my literary work, I’m on a lifelong quest to develop my own authorial voice.
In 2024, I wrote and published my first book for children, Za lesem les (The Forest Beyond). Shortlisted for the Most Beautiful Czech Children’s Book award, it tells the story of three siblings and a dog who embark on an adventure in a hot-air balloon made of pumpkins.
Adhering to the principles of bibliodiversity, Za lesem les was published in September 2024 and sold out in May 2025.
As of now…
… I’m working on my first novel. It’s a much slower, more humbling creative process than all my commercial work combined—and all the better for it.

What makes me love
my work.
Effort
Creativity takes genuine effort. While I use AI for editing and research, I never rely on it for the creative essence of my work. My concepts and texts are human-powered, not generated.
Dialogue
When we work together, I pause, listen, and ask a lot of questions to make sure I create something you actually need and know how to use.
Focus
I never juggle too many projects and commitments at once, meaning I can afford to invest the time and care our collaboration deserves.
Honesty
I like to honestly reflect on everything I write and create. From you, I need your trust and transparent feedback, so I can revise and edit accordingly.
